Overview
Every new freight contract arrived as a scanned PDF and was retyped by hand into three separate systems. The process took two to three days per contract and quietly introduced errors that only surfaced at invoicing.
We built an intake pipeline that reads the document, extracts the commercial terms, checks them against business rules, and writes the result into the downstream systems. Anything the pipeline is unsure about is queued for a human to confirm rather than guessed.

- OCR and layout parsing tuned for scanned and photographed contracts
- Structured extraction of parties, rates, terms and renewal dates
- Rule-based validation with a human review queue for low-confidence fields
- Automatic write-through to ERP, billing and the document archive
- Intake time reduced from days to minutes per contract
